”The city [of Montreal] converted some alleys to pedestrian ways 20 years ago, then got Fauteux involved to facilitate green alley conversions in seven neighborhoods [...] In 2005 the city asked them to design Passage Charlotte, a former alley, now parking lot, that was to be recast as a pedestrian link. For its work on Montreal’s alleys, Fauteux et Associés won a National Citation from the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects in 2007.”
